| Thanks for visiting Jennipoo Pups! Please browse my pages for photos of our beautiful puppies. I am a hobby breeder and have puppies periodically. My pricing is based on the size and color of each puppy. Additional cost will apply to rare colors and sizes. Weight is estimated using the 8wk weight of the puppy and the parent's sizes. I will do my best to estimate the adult weight for a fair price. However, there is no guarantee on the estimated weight. All puppies are wormed weekly and given their puppy shot at 8 weeks. Potty training starts at 3 wks with paper then we train to go outside to potty. All you have to do is continue the training at home to insure success. Nose to the ground means "I have to go potty" soon as they wake up and after eating are also good potty times. Patience and good owners are key to successful potty training. There are no bad dogs just bad owners. Positive rewards insure the best results. |
| Additional Information Standard Colors: Black, Black and Silver, Salt and Pepper The standard for AKC Miniature Schnauzers is 12-14 inches at withers. The weight is variable due to different feeding habits(owner's). A healthy Mini will generally weigh 16-20 pounds. They should be square in appearance. Nearly equal in length(chest to tail) and height at withers(shoulders). Mini Schnauzers are non-shedding and are good pets for people with allergies. They are spirited, alert, obediant, and eager to please. Friendliness and intelligence are the characteristics of this breed. Making them sturdy playmates and watchdogs for children. Toy and Teacup Sizes are not yet recognized by AKC Leaving interpretation up to each breeder. I consider anything smaller than AKC standards a toy. I sell the following sizes. Mini (16-20#) Large Toy(12-15#) Teacup(5-7#) Toy(8-11#) Tiny Teacup(under 5#) All are AKC registered as Miniatures. I like to use these descriptions to help explain the sizes. Miniatures are similiar in size to a cocker spaniel. Toys are like holding a newborn baby. Teacups are the size of a chihuahua or small Yorkie. Tiny Teacups can fit in your pocket. All are adorable little dogs that will fill your heart and home with incredible happiness.
